Trainer credentials & experience
Before your first aid course takes place, you will get a chance to speak to the instructor who will be running your course. You can request to see their qualifications, ask about their first aid experience, and they will ask you if any adjustments need to be made to the training, taking into account you, your team and how they prefer to learn.
Realistic and unique training scenarios
Everyone has been on a first aid course where the instructor clicks through a powerpoint, they do run of the mill CPR on a dummy for 10 minutes, and then they're done for 3 years until they go back and do it again. We do things differently; we take scenarios we have actually experienced and recreate them in our courses. Creating realistic scenarios where the situation evolves gives you a much deeper understanding that you can then take back into your workplace and beyond, rather than coming across a real emergency and thinking "this isn't how it happened on my first aid course" or "we didn't cover what to do if things don't go to plan".
Access to post-course refresher material
We understand that 3 years is a long time between courses, and that key information can easily be forgotten. Every single person that attends one of our courses receives a wallet-sized card with a QR code that opens an online portal, with free, unlimited access to PDF files, videos and useful websites that cover key parts of the course and act as refresher material between courses. We can also print the PDF documents if required, so you can have hard copies in your office.
